WHAT IS THE OWEN SOUND FALL FAIR
Celebrating Rural Roots since 1852
Owen Sound Fall Fair is a volunteer-run organization that has run this event for over 170 years, annually. Our mission is to bring agriculture into the city of Owen Sound and to educate everyone about food and agriculture. We host
4-H, horse, beef and poultry shows to have regional farmers/competitors come to and exhibit their commodities. In addition to the animal components of the fair we have our homecraft competitions to showcase talent from photography and art, to culinary arts, canning, flowers and more. To bring the excitement to the event we have track events like the Local Truck and Tractor pulls, Antique Tractor Pulls and a fan-favourite, the Demolition Derby! We strive to bring the community together to celebrate our rural roots and to have an enjoyable and educational experience.
